“Family” Meal

Remember when I complained a few posts back that my beautiful table in the kitchen sits empty?

On Saturday we had company at the house–a friend my husband and I sort of adopted. You might call it a “family” meal. Of course, in the body of believers we are all “family.” Same Father, different mother as the movie, Fireproof jokingly said. Because the budget was tight, I made our all-time favorite–the Hahn version of Olive Garden’s Toscana Soup and my special occasion rolls.

It’s hot outside, but in my opinion soup, like my favorite Starbucks drink, is never out of season, neither are new friends. We got to meet his new girlfriend.

If you want the recipe for one or both of these items, please email me at nikolehahn@thehahnhuntinglodge.com. I cannot publish it as I believe both recipes are copyright protected and might be out of print.
